Guerrero, 24, was 1-4 with an RBI on Friday night as the Blue Jays defeated the Pirates 4-0. He is batting .318 this season with seven home runs and 21 RBIs.

In his postgame media availability, Blue Jays manager John Schneider was noncommittal about Guerrero’s status for the series finale.

“We’ll see how he feels [Sunday],” he said, “and go from there.”

The wins in Pittsburgh come on the heels of a five-game losing streak. But with the first-place Tampa Bay Rays losing 3-2 Saturday to the New York Yankees, Toronto moved up to seven games behind the Rays in the American League East.
