The richest young celebrities in the UK and Ireland have been revealed in a new list.

Compiled by Heat magazine, the list, now in its 11th year, “delves into the bank accounts of Britain’s youngest, richest stars to find out exactly where they make their money”.

So who tops the chart for rich 30-and-under celebs this year?

Once again, it’s Ed Sheeran, who hits the number one spot for the third year in a row.

In the past 12 months, the 30-year-old singer-songwriter has increased his estimated worth to £236.5 million, according to Heat.

Sheeran is doing so well, in fact, that no one else even comes close. (Adele, who is 33, doesn’t make the list; earlier in 2021, The Sunday Times Rich list estimated she was worth £130 million, although that’s sure to increase following her long-awaited comeback album.)

In second place is Harry Styles, 27, who has an estimated worth of £80 million, followed by pop group Little Mix, who come in third as a trio with an estimated worth of £66.7 million.

In fact, all the former One Direction stars made the top 10, with Niall Horan at number four with £57.5 million, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson at joint sixth with £47 million apiece, and Zayn Malik – who quit the band before they announced their hiatus – at number nine with £38 million.

Lewis Capaldi, 25, is the highest new entry for 2021, at number 16 with £17 million.

Other new entries in the top 20 include former Little Mix star Jesy Nelson, 30, at 19 with £13.5 million; Disclosure at 20 with £12 million; Jake Bugg, 27, at 26 with £6.1 million); Anne-Marie, 30, at 29 with £5.4 million, and Dave, 23, at 30 with £5.2m.

Jodie Comer, Millie Bobby Brown and Tom Holland also made the top 30.

Heat also compiled a list of the wealthiest stars outside the UK.

Unsurprisingly, reality star and make-up mogul Kylie Jenner claimed the top spot with an estimated worth of £773 million, followed by singer Justin Bieber with £347 million.

Should the UK and Ireland stars be combined with the world chart, Sheeran would come in at a respectable third place.

Next year, however, at the grand old age of 31, he’ll be too old to make the cut.

The Heat Rich List uses company accounts, record sales, TV contracts and endorsements to estimate the worth of celebrities.
