An Israeli strike has hit a car carrying United Nations observers outside a town in southern Lebanon, two security sources told Reuters.
There was no immediate comment from UNIFIL – the UN peacekeeper mission in southern Lebanon – about the incident near Rmeish.
UNIFIL accompanies technical observers monitoring the Blue Line, which divides the border between Lebanon and Israel.
