Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have tied the knot for a second time with a big white wedding surrounded by family and friends.

The ceremony comes a month after the celebrity couple, known as “Bennifer”, got married in a Las Vegas drive through-chapel.

Their second nuptials took place on Saturday on the grounds of actor and director Affleck’s $8.9m (£7.5m) Georgia mansion, with aerial photos obtained by MailOnline showing the couple walking down a white carpet and embracing each other at a snowy white altar.

Lopez, 53, wore a Ralph Lauren fishtail couture gown with a dramatic long train and veil for the fairytale ceremony, while her fourth husband Affleck, 50, looked dapper in a white tuxedo jacket, black trousers and black bow tie.

They arrived at an airfield near the site of the nuptials aboard a private jet, according to the website.

The pair’s official wedding ceremony is the culmination of a relationship that has stretched over two decades in two separate romances and headlined countless tabloid covers.

They had previously called off their initial engagement in 2003 after blaming excessive media attention on their relationship.

After tying the knot on Saturday, the couple were followed down the aisle by their close family and friends, including Lopez’s twin children Emme and Max, 14, whom she had with ex-husband Marc Anthony; and Affleck’s three children from his marriage to actress Jennifer Garner; Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Sam, 11, the MailOnline reported.

Affleck’s actor brother Casey, 47, is reported to have declined an invite to the wedding due to parental obligations in Los Angeles.

Several A-list celebrities reportedly attended the union, however, including actors Matt Damon and Jason Mewes, and director Kevin Smith.

After tying the knot, Lopez and Affleck led their guests towards the estate’s Oyster House, where the wedding reception was expected to take place.

Pictures from the celebration show the couple posing for their wedding photos on a bridge at Affleck’s estate, as well as by the steps outside the mansion.

It comes after Lopez had announced her marriage to Affleck last month in Nevada in her newsletter to fans, with the heading “We did it.”

“Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient,” wrote Lopez in a message signed Jennifer Lynn Affleck.

Conducted in classic Vegas fashion – the ceremony came three months after the couple confirmed their engagement and 18 years after they cancelled their wedding.

The singer described it as the best night of their lives, adding: “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at 12:30 in the morning in the tunnel of love drive through with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with.”
