Model Blac Chyna’s relationship with the Kardashian family was “exciting” in the early days of her relationship with ex-fiancee, Rob Kardashian, before turning sour, a court has been told.

Kim Kardashian, her “momager” Kris Jenner, and her sisters, Khloe Kardashian and Kylie Jenner all appeared in court on Wednesday to listen to the 33-year-old’s testimony.

All four women are defendants in a lawsuit brought by Blac Chyna, who is accusing them of defamation and illegally interfering with her contracts and business dealings to drive her out of reality television.

The former reality star, whose real name is Angela White is suing the family for $100m (£77m) over lost earnings from the end of a 2016 ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ spinoff show called Rob & Chyna.

The Kardashians have denied any wrongdoing and said, in court filings, that they had legitimate concerns about Chyna and for the safety of Rob given the “violence and toxicity” of the relationship.

Taking to the stand during the second day of the trial, Chyna described celebrating with Rob on 14 December 2016 after learning their TV series had been approved for a second season.

“It was exciting, we were throwing money and having fun, being silly,” Chyna said.

A ripped shirt and a phone charger around Rob Kardashian’s neck

She went on to explain that she ripped her ex-partner’s shirt while they were “doing silly stuff” and, later in the day, she wrapped a phone charger around his neck.

“I came up behind him, doing that jokingly,” she added.

At one point, Rob was on FaceTime with a friend and she picked up an unloaded gun that was kept on a dresser, Chyna told the court.

She said that none of the moments were intended to cause harm and Rob seemed to take them as she intended.

It was on 15 December that the couple had an argument that would ultimately lead to the end of the relationship. the show’s cancellation and the current lawsuit.

Chyna began to talk about the fight when the trial went on a break, but she is expected to return to the stand.

During the first day of the trial, the court heard how Kris Jenner allegedly falsely accused Chyna of physically abusing Rob in a bid to smear her reputation and ruin her television career.
