Jennifer Lopez has announced she will tie the knot with Ben Affleck, 18 years after the couple called off their wedding.
The singer and actress, 52, revealed she was engaged for a second time to Hollywood star Affleck in her online newsletter, OnTheJLo.
She teased how she had a “major announcement” in a post to her 202 million Instagram followers on Saturday.
But those who are not part of her “inner circle” would have to sign up to her website, where she shares “more personal things”, to learn her news, she added.
Lopez can be seen crying in a video while admiring a huge green engagement ring.
She has since added a diamond ring emoji to her Twitter handle, where she revealed her engagement to her 45.2 million fans.
The couple, famously nicknamed Bennifer, reignited their romance after Lopez broke up with baseball star Alex Rodriguez and Affleck split with actress Ana DeArmas last year.
They sparked rumours of a reunion after being pictured together in May last year.
Lopez officially confirmed their relationship was back on by sharing with an Instagram post of her kissing her beau on a yacht in St Tropez, on her 52nd birthday.
The Hollywood stars were pictured sharing a kiss at the premiere of The Last Duel at the 78th Venice Film Festival in September – their debut appearance on the Red Carpet since they reunited.
Lopez and Affleck’s love affair began in July 2002 and they got engaged months later in November.
They had been due to wed in September 2003 but cancelled the nuptials just days before the ceremony and called off their engagement in January 2004.
Affleck was previously married to actress Jennifer Garner but they divorced in 2018 after 13 years of marriage.
Affleck and Garner share three children – Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10.
Meanwhile, Lopez’s former flames include singer Marc Anthony, to whom she was married for 10 years until their divorce in 2014.
They have 14-year-old twins Emme and Max together.
